The dust has settled. I was ultimately accepted by Emerson College, American University, and Old Dominion University. ODU offered funding in the form of a first-year fellowship and an assistantship in years 2-3. So, I'll be attending ODU (anyone in the Norfolk area?) I'm pretty incredibly psyched. One of my "required" courses in semester 1 is a poetry workshop with Tim Seibles, and I think Tim is pretty freaking awesome. So, yeah, I'm excited. escarp (the text-message journal) is also going well enough. Accepted our 8th piece the other day, and talked my program director into signing up for Twitter and sending us something. Long way ahead,

I drop by from time to time and poke around. I see some of my old friends are inactive these days, but some others still seem to be active, so I figured an update was worthwhile. I'm currently waiting on acceptance/rejection letters for grad school. I've yet to hear from 9 of the 20 schools I applied to. So far I've been accepted (but without funding) to MFA programs at Emerson College and Old Dominion University. I've been rejected by Brown, Cornell, Alabama, Florida, Miami, Michigan, Texas, Washington and Wyoming thus far.
